Overview
One America News is a 24/7 national news network committed to delivering hard hitting headlines and the latest stories from around the nation and around the world. Candidates must have excellent communication and writing skills, and able to pass a current events and writing proficiency test.
Job Overview:
- Research and write clear, unbiased, fact-based news stories in broadcast style
- Pitch stories daily and work closely with producers to create original content for live newscasts
- Meet deadlines and daily quota for completed stories
- Work closely with anchors, editors, directors and entire news team to create content
- Maintain a strong knowledge of national and international events as well as politics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or equivalent
- Must have excellent command of the English language, spelling and grammar
- Must be willing to work weekends, overnights and holidays
- Previous news experience a plus
- Knowledge of ENPS a plus
