The Junior Business Intelligence Analyst will work for the Continuous Improvement Director, supporting cross-business units in a consultative role, supporting the design and development of the tools and processes necessary for the business to achieve their best in class goals.  They will also support the development of a process design, documentation, and data governance project for the team.


The Junior Business Intelligence Analyst will be able to support and deliver, under direction, the following key functions necessary to deliver Continuous Improvement goals:

  1. Understand, design and document processes within a business unit.
  2. Understand and document KPIs for a business unit.
  3. Be comfortable being curious with a business customer to ensure complete understanding of the objectives of that customer.
  4. Have a high-level understanding of technology tools and their impact on achieving the business customer’s goals.
  5. Understand the results of data analytics and how they represent the goals of the customer.
  6. Effectively communicate results to a direct superior within the team.
  7. Be comfortable learning disparate business functions across the College.
  8. Be comfortable making recommendations for operational pivots when the customer’s goals are not being realized.



Individuals must possess such knowledge, skill, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential function of the job with or without reasonable accommodation using an appropriate combination of skills and abilities.

Education and Training

Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to demonstrate the ability to perform the job.
