Overview

Responsible for collaborating with copywriters, developers, and marketers to execute social media, website, merchandise designs, and email campaigns.

This FLSA-nonexempt, remotely-based position qualifies for overtime pay and reports to the Creative Director. This position may involve work for COSA’s affiliates, including Convention of States Foundation.

Responsibilities

  • Designs print media and web assets for digital marketing graphics, apparel designs, web banners and images, billboards, and signs
  • Maintains brand integrity and consistency throughout all projects
  • Prioritizes and manages projects from start to completion.

Requirements

  • Strongly supports COSA’s mission and core values (https://conventionofstates.com/corevalues )
  • Knowledgeable about current events, especially domestic politics.
  • Able to learn COSA’s audience and can develop appealing content for that audience.
  • Highly loyal and trustworthy with sensitive information
  • Skilled and creative with graphic arts in various mediums
  • Occasional travel may be required

Education, Skills & Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Suite (especially Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • One or more years of related design experience
  • Demonstrated creativity in design as shown in portfolio work
  • Sound understanding of design principles
  • Desirable Skills:
  1. Animation
  2. Print design and production
  3. Web design and/or UX
