Position:  Customer Service Representative – SCARS

Location:  Jacksonville Beach


This is a position for someone with a passion for both GORUCK and people. As a GORUCK Customer Service Representative – SCARS, you will be instrumental in developing and spreading the GORUCK brand by servicing our community of loyal and awesome customers. Your main goal is to do right by our people and to consistently create a positive and unforgettable experience as the face of GORUCK.


  • Deliver a positive customer experience through email, social media, and phone
  • Think creatively about ways in which we can optimize each SCARS customer experience and brainstorm with the team
  • Master and multitask our internal management systems
  • Communicate and work cross-functionally with all departments
  • Work closely with SCARS sewing technicians to provide a seamless customer experience
  • Pay close attention to queue turn around times and make sure customers gear is worked on in a timely manner
  • Constantly improve our current business processes for efficiency and better outcomes
  • Be cognizant and aware of customer trends to include what’s working and what’s not
  • Learn how to sew and help with repairs as needed
  • Responsible for additional customer service tasks designated to SCARS


  • 1+ years of customer service experience in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of Zendesk not required but preferred
  • Ability to operate machinery, e.g. sewing machines and repair equipment, and handle physical workload, lifting up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to learn/understand sewing terms and efficiency of SCARS process
  • Capable of working in-person at our Jacksonville Beach, FL location
  • Knowledge of GORUCK products and their functions
  • A workhorse with “no task is too small” attitude who prioritizes quality over quantity
  • Highly organized with an intense attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication skills with a savvy ability to say “no” with a smile
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the capability of simplifying complex situations
  • Moral compass with a high level of integrity and good judgment – you’re able to uphold policy while finding a feasible solution for the customer
  • Tenacious and highly resourceful – no problem is unsolvable
  • Ability to work closely with others in a close knit team environment
  • Preference toward: Fitness / Rucking / Training enthusiasts, veterans and supporters with strong ties to the military, experienced team sport athletes, active gear dorks
