Overview

We are looking for a brand designer to grow and maintain our design assets across multiple mediums. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of design principles, creating cohesive visual messages, and extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud. This individual will coordinate with multiple departments to create digital and print assets for multiple sales channels. If you like jumping into a wide variety of design projects, this will be a great opportunity!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve existing brand guidelines with the executive team
  • Develop media ads with a strong focus on brand image
  • Design and coordinate email campaigns
  • Design and coordinate social media ads and posts
  • Design print ads
  • Mockup T-shirt designs for advertising and web content
  • Collaborate with the photo department for digital asset organization and attends photoshoots
  • Upload products onto our eCommerce platform
  • Work with retail to design displays and signage
  • Carry out strategic objectives from the Marketing team as it relates to campaign execution
  • Create and maintain a database of design assets

Web Designer Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proven understanding of graphic design fundamentals
  • Demonstrated ability to take a project from concept to launch
  • Strong understanding of color theory, image composition, and typography
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Ability to deliver production-ready digital assets in a wide variety of formats
  • Familiarity with digital photo editing
  • Comfort working in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Three to five years of professional design experience
  • Marketing experience is a plus
  • Educational degrees are preferred, but self-taught designers are welcome
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as BigCommerce, Shopify, WordPress etc.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop & Illustrator)
  • Experience with HTML, Javascript, and CSS a plus
  • Strong portfolio that shows design and brand identity capabilities
  • Social media and email marketing experience a plus
