Overview

Start-up digital media, podcast & television network seeking experienced Senior Ad Ops Coordinator to join our team. In this role you will work closely with multiple departments including the Sales, Production, Editorial & Marketing teams. The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the scheduling, trafficking, and optimizing of advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate has an incredible work ethic and is extremely detail oriented. The individual must also be team-oriented and able to multi-task many different responsibilities and assignments. S/he must possess strong communication, organizational, and strategic-thinking skills and must be flexible and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Taking initiative is a must!

Key Duties/Responsibilities

  • Support sales and marketing efforts including the planning, processing, scheduling, monitoring, reporting & billing of campaigns
  • Work within a close-knit team environment on a daily basis but also have the ability to work independently
  • Work closely with senior team members to manage the order process, track and manage campaigns, collaborate on creative, make suggestions for improving campaign strategies for clients and partners
  • Create regular and ad hoc Excel reports in a timely fashion
  • Manage invoice discrepancies by investigating internal data
  • Provide after-hours support for client-related emergencies, as necessary
  • Support senior team members as needed
  • Candidate should have strong organizational skills and demonstrated communication skills
  • Skills required: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience as an employee or intern with a media company or agency a plus

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience; preference for media or agency background
  • Undergraduate degree in relevant field of study preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex problems
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel
  • Must possess ability to work well under pressure/deadlines
